You would never know he was a millionaire. He seemed so down to earth. Faded t-shirts and a beat up pick up truck were his signature traits. You wouldn’t notice him in a room full of people. He looked so … normal.

However, there was something that set him apart from other people. He was full of life. His exuberance was infectious. His love for His Savior is evident. His generosity was breathtaking!

When he came to Christ, he felt called to share with others not only the message of the gospel of salvation, but to share whatever earthly goods he possessed. People thought he was strange. This wasn’t the way most people lived. But he remained true to the path God had designed just for him.

Years later, God not only blessed his life, his family and his work, but his bank balance. This man continuously is looking for ways to bless others. In blessing others, he himself is blessed. In knowing that God has entrusted him financially, he prayerfully and joyfully shares with others as God directs him.

He is building an inheritance in heaven and that excites him. I wonder if I would be so generous if I had his bank balance. But wait…I do! God has blessed me and wants me to bless others with His gifts. When I choose to hold on to my possessions, I feel stingy. When I release my gifts to others in blessing, I feel joy-filled!
