At the Garden Gate
There’s nothing that fills my heart like flower gardens. Wild, and untamed. Cultured, and defined. The love I have for gardening comes from my mom. She taught me so much about creating and designing flower beds, to what plants to plant in the sun or shade, incorporating herb gardens with flower gardens so they have a dual purpose.
I’ve also learned a lot from my flower gardens and vegetable gardens, spiritually speaking. Many spiritual enrichment moments come to me as I’m tilling the soil, planting seeds, weeding, and harvesting the abundant blessings. God brings a message to minister to my heart right where I need at the most… And it usually starts at my garden gate.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8
